Green Team collaborates with sustainable business in Durango through field trips, presentations, and relationships with local businesses.

The Green Team individuals are passionate about sustainability and environmental education. They work to educate younger students about the importance of sustainability and how they can make a positive impact on the environment. Additionally, the Green Team members also learn from businesses and organizations in Durango about sustainable practices and how they can be implemented in their own lives.
Our Story
Green Team was founded two years ago by students Aisha and Anabel, two passionate individuals dedicated to environmental advocacy. After graduating, Aisha established Good Trouble, a platform designed to help clubs like Green Team across Colorado connect and collaborate on sustainability initiatives.
The original logo of Green Team was given to Good Trouble. In 2024, a new logo was designed by Green Team member Clio Bendell, who won a logo contest, bringing a fresh and vibrant identity to the team as they continue their mission to promote environmental awareness.
